BSS Technology is an engineering company building industrial software for manufacturers. For more than thirty years we have done one thing: turning production knowledge on the floor into a system that is visible, traceable and manageable. We are not a software house but an engineering team that came out of manufacturing.
Rather than imposing a standard enterprise system on the floor, we model each company's own bill of materials, routing and production reality. We work alongside hundreds of plants in packaging, print, plastics and metal.
Our team has as many automation and production engineers as software engineers. Because we can discuss why a line stopped, where waste occurred and why a delivery date slipped, we can build the right system.

Thirty years, six turning points.
We started as an engineering workshop
BSS was founded to build software specifically for manufacturers. From day one the aim was not to sell an off-the-shelf package but to carry the floor's real process into software.

We moved beyond accounting software
While commercial software only kept the books, we built a production-focused ERP architecture that united the order–production–inventory–cost chain in one record.

We made machines talk to software
Counters, PLCs and shop-floor terminals were connected to the system. Output, downtime and waste stopped being hand-entered and began to be read straight from the machine — that is how the MES layer was born.

We modeled each industry's own language
Linear meters of corrugated board, label variants, plastic cycle times and metal routings were not the same calculation. Industry-specific bill of materials and routing logic were developed separately for each.

We understand the floor first
Before writing code we study the production process on site. Our engineer walks the line, talks to the operator and builds the bill of materials from real material. The solution is born on the floor, not at a desk.
We adapt rather than impose
Instead of forcing a standard package, we build the system around the company's products, routings, sites and approval structure. The software fits your process, not the other way around.
Support is part of the product
The biggest risk in manufacturing software investments is an implementation left unfinished. That is why every stage from discovery to go-live is defined, and support is permanent.
Respect for data
Every record has a known source, owner and time. Records are never deleted or overwritten — they are appended to. Trust comes from traceability.
