SOLUTIONS · BY INDUSTRY

Your industry has a production language of its own.

Linear meters of corrugated board and label variants, envelope units per hour and metal operation routes are not the same calculation. Below you can see each industry's real flow and what BSS tracks within it — jump straight to yours from the list on the right.

01 · OFFSET-PRINTED BOX

Offset Packaging

Offset Packaging production floor Sheet layout plan
Offset Packaging — detail Lamination & box assembly

In laminated carton production, profit is decided not by printing but by how many boxes come off the sheet. BSS brings the sheet layout plan, the ganging of different orders onto one sheet and shared cutting-die use into a single work order, and derives the true unit cost of the lamination–die-cutting–gluing route per box.

02 · CORRUGATED BOARD

Corrugated Packaging

Corrugated Packaging production floor Corrugated board line
Corrugated Packaging — detail Cutting & dispatch

Our BSS ERP combines hundreds of orders automatically in seconds, weighing many alternatives, and sends the combined orders straight to the corrugator. Through Order Change systems it talks to any machine regardless of make, recording actual production data and labeling every pallet movement. Pallet merging registers the stacks coming off the corrugated line onto pallets automatically. Talking directly to smart conveyor lines, it runs the whole plant's unmanned planning processes.

03 · REEL LABELS

Labels

Labels production floor Reel label printing
Labels — detail Cutting & rewinding

Short lead times, frequent changeovers and high variant density keep label planning under constant strain. BSS tracks small batches, versions and plate/die changeover times, showing how long each job waits at the machine and where delivery risk sits. Our rapid costing runs cost studies across hundreds of products in different variations and measures the actual cost when the job closes.

04 · KRAFT BAGS

Kraft Bags

Kraft Bags production floor Bag forming line
Kraft Bags — detail Handle & assembly

Printed body, handle cord, base board and gluing — bag making is an assembly job where several components flow in sync. BSS keeps every component in the bill of materials, and writes assembly-station waste and handle/board consumption to actual cost.

05 · COMMERCIAL PRINT

Commercial Print

Commercial Print production floor Sheet-fed printing
Commercial Print — detail Finishing

In a mixed-order, multi-job print shop, machine load, imposition ganging and paper consumption decide the margin. BSS loads jobs against machine capacity, gangs shared impositions and separates press and finishing waste by job.

06 · HIGH-VOLUME ENVELOPES

Envelope

Envelope production floor Envelope production line
Envelope — detail Window & gluing

Envelopes are a business of high volume, thin margins and speed, where unit cost is measured in fractions of a cent. BSS reads units per hour, window film and glue consumption from the machine, and shows what a few points of waste mean in actual cost on a large run.

07 · PLASTIC PACKAGING

Plastic Packaging

Plastic Packaging production floor Injection / extrusion
Plastic Packaging — detail Quality & packing

Granulate consumption, cycle time, mold cavities and reject rate are the backbone of unit cost in plastics. BSS takes machine data from automation, ties grammage, cycle and quality to the work order and calculates actual cost.

08 · METAL PACKAGING

Metal Packaging

Metal Packaging production floor Metal forming
Metal Packaging — detail Quality control

In multi-station metal production, operation sequence, WIP movement and quality records decide the order's integrity. BSS tracks the long route, intermediate stock and station capacity, tying every quality checkpoint to its batch. Metal coils are barcoded and registered; coil slitting, ganging onto cut metal sheets and subcontract processing are all tracked closely.

09 · FLEXIBLE PACKAGING

Flexible Packaging

Flexible Packaging production floor Film printing & lamination
Flexible Packaging — detail Slitting & roll

Multilayer film, solvent consumption and lamination waste make flexible packaging's calculation unique. BSS holds the layer recipe, ink/solvent consumption and roll size tracking together, and writes layer rejects to actual cost.

And more — is your production not on the list?

These are the industries we work with most often, but they are not a limit. Bring your bill of materials and your flow, and let's model your sector's logic together. Where the standard falls short, we complete it with industry-specific configuration and engineering.
